Dr. Schwartz: Woodland Hills Psychologist received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Alliant International, Los Angeles, where she also received her Master’s degree. Her clinical training and experience have centered on psychological assessment for children, teens, and adults. Dr. Schwartz has also worked as a Clinical Supervising Psychologist at The Help Group, Sherman Oaks, and as Lead Clinical Supervisor at Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services, Family Division, where she supervised APA Interns in psychological assessment. Her clinical experience also includes providing psychotherapy to children and their families, opening a birth to five years program optimizing baby/child development, and she has provided crisis intervention and conflict resolution treatment to adults, adolescents, and children. Dr. Schwartz is bi-lingual and speaks fluent Farsi.

Dr. Schwartz has many years of experience developing assessments to identify learning differences, attentional disorders, developmental delays, and emotional problems in children, teens, and adults. She understands how difficult it can be when a person is not meeting their full potential and cannot determine the cause of those struggles. As a mother of three young children, she knows that it can be distressing to watch your own child struggle with difficulties that cannot easily be identified. Dr. Schwartz is passionate about helping individuals find their strengths while pinpointing their limitations and she takes the time to develop a custom set of tests to assess and fully understand these qualities. She integrates test results into an easy-to-understand and meaningful way with specific recommendations to help individuals meet their full potential.
Dr. Schwartz has a passion for working with children and adolescents in psychotherapy. She enjoys collaborating with parents to create goals and short-term treatment plans. She is creative, enthusiastic, warm, and most importantly very patient. She has a knack for connecting and working with children and teens.
Dr. Schwartz has focused her therapy on evidence-based, solution-oriented treatment approaches used to treat anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other mental health disorders commonly observed in children and adolescents.
Dr. Schwartz is bilingual, fluent in both English and Farsi.
