Sara is a doctoral candidate at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where she also received her master’s degree. Her clinical training has centered on psychological assessment and child, adolescent, and family therapy.

Under the supervision of Dr. Conway, Sara is continuing to develop expertise in assessments used to identify learning differences, attentional disorders, developmental delays, and emotional problems.

In addition to her role at Coastal Psychological Group, Sara is in her second year of a two-year predoctoral fellowship program focused on psycho-educational testing for children and adolescents.

Psychotherapy for Children & Teens

Sara has a passion for working with children and adolescents in psychotherapy. She enjoys collaborating with parents to create goals and short-term treatment plans. She is creative, enthusiastic, warm, and most importantly very patient. She has a knack for connecting and working with children and teens.

Sara has focused her training on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based, solution-oriented treatment approach used to treat anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and other mental health disorders commonly observed in children and adolescents.

Sara is bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
